Accumulation Roller Conveyors
Accumulation Roller Conveyors are used for the accumulation or buffering of your transport goods (stacks of plywood, furniture, etc.). There are two fundamental accumulation systems.
Accumulation with Backpressure: the transport goods run into each other and have physical contact. Manual separation is required at the end of the accumulation section of the conveyor.
Accumulation without Backpressure: the transport goods remain separated from each other throughout the accumulation section and additional separation at the end of the accumulation section of the conveyor is not required. Both accumulation systems belong to our standard product range.
When you do business with us you will have competent advisor on your side due to our broad selection load-bearing rollers, drive train systems and special roller conveyor profiles. We gladly develop effective, cost-optimized transport solutions tailored to your spatial conditions and specific merchandise.
The section below displays some of our roller and chain conveyor variations: the load-bearing rollers are available in different finishes such as plastic, stainless steel, aluminum or steel:
Motorized Tangential Accumulation Roller Conveyor Series 300-LU
Equipped with screwed-in load-bearing rollers. This accumulation conveyor system creates minimal backpressure during the accrual process. The load-bearing rollers are equipped with an adjustable slip coupler where the drive force applied to the load-bearing rollers can be calibrated. Beginning at a load-bearing roller diameter of 80 mm chain covers are applied to the drivetrain side of the roller conveyor. The maximum capacity of this roller conveyor is 1,200 kg/m (2645.5 lbs/3.28 ft). The overall capacity per roller conveyor drivetrain is 4,000 kg (8,818.49 lbs). Beginning at a roller conveyor overall height of 280 mm (11.02 in) the motor is mounted under the roller conveyor.
Motorized Tangential Accumulation Roller Conveyor
Equipped with screwed-in load-bearing roller. This accumulation conveyor system creates no backpressure during the accrual process. The accumulation roller conveyor is divided into accumulation sections, which corresponds to the length of the transport good. The drivetrain of these accumulation sections is regulated to automatically and pneumatically switch off when required. The necessary control logistics are integrated into the light sensors.
Roller Conveyor with Accumulation Chain Conveyor Series 400
The Series 400 Accumulation Chain Conveyor consists of two non-motorized roller conveyors and one centrally located raisable accumulation chain conveyor for the contact free accumulation of transport goods. The centrally located chain moves along multiple lifting elements. During transport pneumatic friction locks are lifted into place, which remove the necessary pallet from the driveforce of the chain. The resting position of the pallets takes place through the sinking of the chain, which then runs contact free under the pallets. The necessary control logistics are integrated into the light sensors.
